Netherlands, February 21, 2024, European Telecommunications and Internet Service provider, Voiped Telecom, has joined Internet Exchange, AMS-IX - Amsterdam, a neutral member-based association that operates global Interconnection platforms worldwide.
By selecting AMS-IX, Voiped Telecom aims to enhance its expanding MPLS/IP European network backbone, currently interconnecting with over 170 connectivity vendors, and maximize the delivery of its Voice and Data network traffic across its cross-continental service coverage region. AMS-IX provides interconnection services such as remote Internet peering, that enable its global members to connect with other member networks to exchange IP traffic. With a widely diverse, connected member network of over 873 (ASN) which includes companies such as Internet service providers, telecommunications operators, content delivery networks, and cloud providers, AMS-IX is one of the most prominent interconnection platforms worldwide.
